"Good morning, love," his voice dripped with false sweetness. "We have work to do."

Natalie's hands trembled as she tucked a $100 bill beneath her burger, a note scribbled on a napkin: "Help." Tears blurred her vision.

"Please," she whispered. "No."

He seized her neck, his grip tightening. "Eat." His voice was a low growl. "Now."

Fear, cold and paralyzing, held her hostage. He snatched the burger, flinging it away. "Let's go."

The burger landed at the feet of a homeless man, Elias. He unfolded the napkin. "Help?" He looked up, his eyes meeting Natalie's terrified gaze.

He shoved her husband aside. "Get in the car."

"He appeared out of nowhere and saved me," Natalie thought, "not knowing I'd soon be locked in a trunk."

"Alright, come out," Elias demanded. "Where am I?" she asked, fear still clinging to her.

"Doesn't matter. Just get out."

"Listen, Elias," Natalie pleaded. "My husband... he'll find me."

"Ma'am, is this your car?" an officer asked.

"Yes," Elias replied.

"Case closed. Have a nice day."

"Wait!" Natalie cried. "My husband... he's..."

"Ma'am, your car is here, keys are in place, and you're an adult. Have a nice day."

Elias's confident gaze offered a sliver of hope.

"Stop," Natalie begged, as Elias drove. "Please, stop."

"We're stuck here till morning," Elias said. "There's no way out."

"He locks me up," Natalie whispered, "for years. I don't know what he'll do."

"We'll find something to eat," Elias said, searching the abandoned building.

"In my world," Elias said, finding a can, "this is gold." He pried it open. "Smell it?"

Later, a projector flickered to life. "Natalie?" Elias asked, seeing her in an old video.

"That's me," she said, her voice a ghost.

"You were beautiful," Elias said. "You still are."

"I was talented," Natalie said, tears welling. "Then I met George. He crushed everything."

"Everyone's talented," Elias said. "You have to fight."

"I... I lost my courage."

"Tomorrow," Elias said, "you fight. You saved my life. I refuse to believe you lack courage."

"I promise," Natalie said.

Suddenly, a voice boomed. "Elias?" A well-dressed man appeared. "I'm Mrs. Grimwood's lawyer. Domestic violence, assault... 24 hours. No extradition in Colombia."

"You're a lawyer?" Natalie asked, shocked.

"I never fought for my dream," Elias admitted. "But I'll help you with yours."

"Hollywood?" Natalie asked, as they drove.

"And you're coming with me."

Later, at a hospital, Kelly, a pregnant woman, was in labor. Matthew, her ex, appeared.

"I'm ready to be a father," he said.

"US?" Kelly asked, disbelief in her voice.

"I got a contract," Matthew explained. "I realized... this is a way to get attention."

"You think I care?" Kelly asked. "You're too late."

"I missed you," Matthew said.

"Get out," Kelly said.

"Everything will be fine," Matthew said, taking her to the hospital.

"I didn't want to be a burden," Kelly said.

"This house is too small," Matthew said. "I got a new apartment. A surprise."
